Why “My Jubilate”?

I remember participating in a children’s choir in Morden, Manitoba, and singing “Jubilate.”  That was about 50 years ago.  This blog was begun the week I became a grandmother.   There is youth and old age;  there is sunrise and sunset; there are Psalms of joy and Psalms of lamentation.

The inspiration for My Jubilate comes from verse 3 of the hymn, “Now, on land and sea descending.”

Now, our wants and burdens leaving to our God who cares for all, cease we fearing, cease we grieving; touched by God our burdens fall.

Jubilate!  Jubilate!  Jubilate!  Amen!
